If Comedy is tragedy + Time then the 1983 Saints season is Comedic Masterpiece. It is almost indescribable pain. But it had some fun too.

George Rogers, Hokie Gajan, Bum Phillips doing Bum Phillips things.

Ralph is joined by Booking The Territory Podcast host Mike Mills. Follow Mike at Mike504Saints on Twitter.

Drunk Saints History 1983 Season Part 1 had pain but Part 2 cranks up the suffering to 10, then breaks off the knob.

Horrific Monday Night loss to the Jets? Check

Morten Andersen kicking OT winner? Check.

A loss so devastating to the Rams it STILL HAUNTS Saints fans. So close to the playoffs and winning season yet so far away.

The 1983 was the closest the Saints ever came to a playoff birth and a winning season since starting in 1967.

Did you think it was possible to be winning a football game by a point with less than 1 minute left and lose that game by a point? When 786 Kenny Stabler is your QB it is!

In most ridiculous Drunk Saints Histoy yet Ralph is joined by comedian Don Takano to relive the 2008 season. They start in part 1 by discussing the 2008 offseason. HELLO JEREMY SHOCKEY!! The Saints also added Randall Gay (LSU LSU) and Bobby McCray. Aaron Glenn even makes an appearence.

The Saints still had no kicker or a defense but Gary Gibbs and Jason David were very much around.

The first half of 2008 was memorable for the amount of pain delivered by losses in Washington and Denver. Oh and the Saints flushed an all time Reggie Bush performance down the toilet.

Oh and we laugh at JaMarcus Russell and J.T. O'Sullivan.

Ralph and Andrew try to figure out the worst play in Saints history. There are SO many to choose from? Is it Atlanta's first Hail Mary in 1978 or the second one? Is it a fourth down that kept 1983 Saints out the playoffs? Vernon F---ing Davis or Stephon Diggs? Come for the pain, stay for the laughs and Ralph's worst mispronunciation.
